Job Description
Duties
- Application of the contests’ management rules and contests’ rules.
- Communications with the national associations in engagement to the national teams’ contests company.
- Help the National teams Manager in every facet of the National teams Contests.
- Taking part of “assessment visits” of the organizer countries when necessary.
- Assist in the drawing of lots of the National teams contests.
- Help in organizing the match timetable, match processes, Match-day -1 initiatives, Match Day, and post rounds.
- Help in producing documentation status reports for Director and/or Management in addition to circular letters.
- Help in the preparations of post event de-update.
- Check in on of the Qualifiers of the National teams contests.
- Being part of missions to the concluding tournaments when necessary.
- Making sure that entire General Planners management qualifications are fulfilled.
- Help in the workshops’ company in addition to conceptualizing resources for contest management.
- Help in arranging Board sessions, inter-division, inter-department synchronization sessions.
- Analyzing rules and making sure content alignment.
- Helping in other contests department’s alliances when needed.
- Check in on the Contests software (CMS management).
- Help in the formation and development of match authorities.
Qualifications (Profile)
- Bachelor’s or MSC / Certification or Certification in Sports management.
- Event management certification will be an addition.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated expertise in football event management /or other sports event management of contests or associated matters.
- Outstanding comprehension of Contest Management associated zones which includes match processes, tournament/event management, teams & formal’s information exchange, and the resulting connections.
- Enthusiasm for supplying specialist football events.
- Project coordination in addition to inspirational management abilities.
- Capability to manage ever evolving and agile conditions in a diverse environment while preserving dynamic levels and positive spirit.
- Robust documented and spoken communication competencies.
- Dependable team player.
- Fluent in English and French languages both documented and spoken is essential; command of Arabic and/or Portuguese is an asset.
- Planning abilities.
- Capability to operate under stress.
- Schedule control.
- Issue resolution competencies.
- Capability to take programs.
- Strategic judgment competencies.
- Good IT competencies – Capability to use all CAF online resources.
