Youth Contests Officer at Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt

Duties

• Application of the contests’ management rules and contests’ rules.
• Communications with the national associations and zonal unions in engagement to youth contests company.
• Help the Youth Executive manager in every facet of the Youth Contests.
• Taking part of “assessment visits” of organizer countries when necessary.
• Assist in the drawing of lots of youth contests.
• Help in organizing the match timetable, match processes, Match-day -1 initiatives, Match Day, and post rounds.
• Help in Producing documentation status reports for Director and/or Management in addition to circular letters.
• Help in the preparations of post event de-update.
• Check in on the zonal tournaments certifying to concluding tournament.
• Being part of missions to other countries during youth concluding tournaments and contests events when necessary.
• Making sure that entire General Planners management qualifications are fulfilled.
• Help in the workshops’ company in addition to conceptualizing resources for contest management.
• Help in arranging Board sessions, inter-division, inter-department synchronization sessions.
• Analyzing rules and making sure content alignment.
• Helping in other contests department’s alliances when needed.
• Check in on the Contests software (CMS management).
• Help in the formation and development of match authorities.

Qualifications (Profile)

• Bsc or Master's / Certification or Certification in Sports Managenent
• Event managenemt certification will be an addition.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated expertise in football event management / or other sports event management of contests or associated matters
• Outstanding comprehension of Contest Management associated zones which includes match processes, tournament / event management, teams & formal’s information exchange, and the resulting connections.
• Enthusiasm for supplying specialist football events.
• Project coordination in addition to inspirational management abilities.
• Capability to manage ever evolving and agile conditions in a diverse environment while preserving dynamic levels and positive spirit.
• Robust documented and spoken communication competencies.
• Dependable team player.
• Fluent in English and French languages both documented and spoken is essential; command of Arabic and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Planning abilities.
