• We are seeking a agile and initiative-driven specialist to take on the position of Group Head Internal Auditor at Dangote Cement Plc.
• In this position, you will head our Internal Audit team and supervise internal audit processes across our multifaceted project sample of companies.

Primary duties

• Design and put into action a thorough internal audit strategy for Dangote Cement Plc.
• Oversee a group of internal auditors to assurance productive and successful audits.
• Proposal tactical guidance and suggestions to top management based on audit discoveries.
• Guarantee alignment to internal standard procedures, methods, and lawful qualifications.
• Supervise and assess the effectiveness of internal regulates and risk mitigation strategy standardized processes.
• Supply audit findings to the Oversight panel and Senior management.

Specialist Certification:

At least Entry-level Membership of the items listed specialist bodies is essential: Accredited Institute of Auditors (CIA), Institute of Chartered Accounting officer of Nigeria (ICAN), Affiliation of Accredited Chartered Accounting officer (ACCA).

Wanted Expertise and Skills:

• At least 20 years’ Financial and Business Audit expertise, 5 years in Senior management
• Big 4, Worldwide Corp/International expertise preferred
• Multifaceted industry exposure e.g. Production operations, Energy
• Deep knowledge of Financial Regulates and Accounting Guidelines
• Understanding with fraud indicators and SAP
• Clear communication, critical thinking, and critical thinking
• Skilled in finance reporting, evaluation, and sector awareness.
