Pre-Initiating Head at JIJEDAPT Human Resources Consult Limited in Ajaokuta, Kogi

Position Objective

The Pre-Initiating Head will be in charge of organizing, managing, and carrying out all pre-initiating initiatives for the KP00–KP10 Pipeline Project. The position make sure that operational structures are mechanically finalize, tested, and prepared for initiating in adherence with project requirements, safety guidelines, and customer qualifications.

Primary duties

• Head all pre-initiating initiatives for the KP00–KP10 pipeline segment, which includes cleaning, gauging, hydro-running test, drying, pigging, and reinstatement.
• Formulate and execute pre-initiating standardized processes, checklists, and method statements in line with project requirements and industry guidelines.
• Organize with building, Quality assurance/Quality control, Health, safety, and environment, and initiating teams to guarantee safe and productive implementation.
• Organize thorough pre-initiating plans, labor strategies, and asset distribution.
• Guarantee preparation of tools, resources, and consumables necessary for pre-initiating works.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors participated in pre-initiating works.
• Confirm recordkeeping which includes test packs, punch lists, system handover dossiers, and ensure closure of pre-initiating punch items.
• Documentation advancement, risks, and concerns to the Manager, project / Initiating Manager on a routine/on a weekly basis basis.
• Guarantee adherence with Health, safety, and environment qualifications and advance a safe operating culture during all pre-initiating initiatives.
• Offer technical direction and training to entry-level engineers and technicians in the pre-initiating team.

Credentials & Expertise

• Bsc in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or associated Engineering discipline.
• At least 8–10 years’ expertise in pipeline pre-initiating and initiating inside the petroleum sector sector.
• Established history in pipeline hydro-running test, cleaning, drying, and pigging processes.
• Solid understanding of international codes, guidelines, and project requirements (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Understanding with pre-initiating software, analytics platforms, and test recordkeeping.
• Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and synchronization competencies.
• Robust dedication to Health, safety, and environment and quality benchmarks.
