Building Automatic control Officer at Casalavoro Limited in Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

The Building Automatic control Officer will be in charge of the design, installation, programming, initiating, and servicing & maintenance of smart home and building automatic control operational structures in all our properties. This position requires a deep knowledge of various automatic control technical solutions, relationship building, and the capability to combine multifaceted operational structures to produce smooth, smart living environments for our customers. The expert will collaborate with architects, and building teams to guarantee that automatic control initiatives meet project qualifications and improve UX.

Primary duties

• Work alongside architects, and interior UI/UX professionals to comprehend automatic control needs and propose appropriate initiatives.
• Design complete building automatic control operational structures, which includes lighting, Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, guard, entertainment, authorization, and energy management.
• Organize thorough system schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools requirements.
• Supervise and, where necessary, engage in the physical installation of automatic control hardware, sensors, and network structure.
• Ensure proper cabling, mounting, and network access of all system parts.
• Combine various sub-operational structures (e.g., KNX, Crestron, Control4, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi) into a unified automatic control operational base.
• Formulate and execute custom programming logic for automatic control scenarios and user interfaces.
• Set up and calibrate sensors, actuators, and managers.
• Thoroughly test and fee every facet of the automatic control system to guarantee full capability and customer satisfaction.
• Offer post-installation assist, diagnose, and settle system problems connected with automatic control operational structures.
• Execute standard procedure servicing & maintenance and system upgrades as necessary.
• Proposal development and direction to employees on how to operate and optimize the automatic control operational structures.
• Preserve precise records of system settings, programming code, and servicing & maintenance initiatives.
• Stay informed with emerging technical solutions and standardized best practices in residential automatic control.
• Verify that every system setups adhere possessing applicable electrical codes, safety guidelines, and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automatic control Engineering, or a associated technical site, or equivalent practical expertise.
• 3-5+ years of expertise during planning phase, installation, and programming of residential building automatic control or smart home operational structures.
• Demonstrated expertise with top automatic control channels (e.g., Crestron, Control4, Savant, KNX, Lutron, AMX) is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of relationship building procedures (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Ethernet) and their application in automatic control.
• Understanding with various information exchange procedures (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, Zigbee, Z-Wave).
• Competence in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, electrical diagrams, and technical requirements.
• Outstanding analytical abilities and meticulousness.
• Clear expression and people skills, with the capability to clarify sophisticated technical notions to non-technical target groups.
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment, coordinating various duty and projects at the same time.
• Applicable qualifications (e.g., industry-specific automatic control operational base qualifications) are a significant advantage.
