Group Head Finance officer at Domeo Resources International in Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

The Group CFO will offer strategic financial executive guidance across the organization and its subsidiaries, making sure financial long-term viability, adherence, and growth. This position requires a agile leader who can oversee group-level finance processes, supervise tax and audit matters, enhance entry to finance, and offer precise finance reporting to assist strategic judgment.

Taxation & Adherence:

• Guarantee adherence with all tax rules and enhance tax effectiveness.
• Supervise internal regulates, risk mitigation strategy frameworks, and compliance to compliance obligations.
• Organize statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Team lead & Development:

• Head, train, and build capacity inside the finance team across subsidiaries.
• Execute results tracking frameworks for finance employees.
• Promote an environment that fosters transparency, responsibility, and superiority.

Tax & Adherence:

• Zero penalties or fines from tax/compliance-related governing bodies.
• On-schedule finish of yearly audits (within statutory due dates).
• Percentage reduction in tax financial obligations through productive arranging.

Process effectiveness:

• Reduction in financial leakages or inefficiencies (measured yearly).
• Execution of group-wide Enterprise platform planning or finance Management operational structures.
• Operating capital cycle enhancements (outstanding invoices, payables, stock).

Credentials & Expertise

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (Master’s/Master of business administration preferred).
• Specialist qualifications: ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or CPA necessary.
• 12+ years’ progressive expertise in finance executive guidance, with a minimum of 5 years as CFO/Finance Director in a group or corporate group framework.
• Solid understanding of taxation, audit methods, IFRS, and financial adherence.
• Established history of lifting capital and coordinating banking/investor relations.
• Exhibited executive guidance and team leadership abilities.
