Regional Finance Manager - Pan Africa at Dangote Group in Lagos

Role summary

The Regional Finance Manager is in charge of the evaluation, merger and streamlining of Financial Effectiveness, Discipline, Adherence & Decision Assist in the PanAfrica Region. The position ensures adherence with corporate rules, IFRS/local GAAP while offering strategic financial direction, effectiveness evaluation through data evaluation and efficient benchmarking to lead long-term development and assist return on financial funding and assets profit margin in the Region.

Primary duties Zone

The Regional Finance Manager bridges corporate HQ and local finance teams, making sure robust adherence while serving as a alliance member to regional executive guidance.

Business Teaming up:

• Serve as a wealth consultant to local corporate decision-makers in synchronization with the Regional CFO.
• Evaluate assist materials for business-related strategic judgment, encompassing scenario evaluation, return on financial funding evaluations, and findings on pricing and margins.
• Recognize risks, avenues, and effectiveness enhancements
• Execute a post-evaluate of Business cases to evaluate any significant variance between ongoing outcomes and starting assumptions. Advise corrective action strategy

Operating Capital Management:

• Supervise the efficient execution of a Operating Capital Board in each country of the Region
• Assign and work alongside Group procurement & Processes on programs meant at optimizing operating capital requirement in country.
• Compliance, Adherence & Risk mitigation strategy

Team lead & Development:

• Mentor, formulate or assist finance teams spanning the region notably Financial Managers /Management accounting officer and Cost Managers
• Build an environment that fosters responsibility, effectiveness, and ongoing development.
• Lead information exchange and process harmonization across local finance units.
