Entry-level Accounting officer / Bookkeeper at Caring Habitat Global Limited in Abraham Adesanya, Lekki - Lagos

Job position

The Assistant accountant/ Bookkeeper possesses the duty for coordinating all patients’ account with regards to invoicing information and information exchange to patients, making sure payment and payment settlement, keeping the organization ledger for all earnings and spending and getting ready accounting documentation for management along with the Top level Accounting officer/Bookkeeper.

Role summary

• In charge of the project setup of patient’s invoice.
• Routine project setup of invoice and settlement of patient’s account using suitable application which includes the Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Getting ready invoice overview for patients/relative/sponsor with clear clarification on the strategic reasoning for invoicing.
• Checking in with patient/relatives/sponsor on prompt payment (admission deposit and periodic top ups) so that the patient’s account is not in deficit.
• Updating/Coordinating invoices on the EMR such that the chargeable solutions are correctly invoiced at any point in time.
• Operating with other participants to correctly capture all chargeable solutions for patients to avoid invoicing errors.
• Will keep organisation ledger vis-à-vis a statement of income/earnings and spending, categorizing the various earnings received etc.
• Arranges every month overview/system failure/documentation of the revenues and spending.
• Every month ledger review.
• Track and record organisation loans.
• Wage processing tracking and payments .
• Any other allocated associated duty.

Credentials Necessary

Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Accounting or any other associated discipline A minimum of 2 years of expertise as an accounting officer.
