Generation Regulate Accounting officer, Golden Pasta at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Agbara, Ogun

Position Explanation

To Assist the generation process by making sure precise recording and status updates of all generation initiatives and financial record with a view to enable alignment with the entire corporate goal.

Duties

• Develop financial plan in line with accepted assumptions, annually.
• On a weekly basis ending of batch orders and check volume and cost precision.
• Supervising/checking of move of unedited/wrapping/FG within Enterprise platform planning.
• Finalize inventory counts as at when due.
• Posting of vendor (Wrapping and unedited material) bills, organize and track vendor payments and on a weekly basis check in ·
• Processing of bills for contracted out solutions (Pasta) after receipt from Human resources.
• Close-out of stock settlement as at when due.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Accounting or associated disciplines.
• Accounting A member of a professional body e.g., ACA, ACCA or any other identified accreditation is a plus.
• At least 5 years of expertise in a similar position.

The Person Must:

• Possess outstanding verbal and non-spoken communication competencies.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting (especially in a production operations/FMCG environment).
• Meticulousness and precision in processing vendor bills, batch orders, and stock postings.
• Issue resolution and critical thinking competencies to settle discrepancies in settlement and inventory counts.
