About the Position
The Company for Creative invention in Community health (OIPH, PATH’s local affiliate in Nigeria) looks for a Finance and Management Manager for the Nigeria project team for the USG-financed Reaching every vulnerable group and household with malaria solutions (PMI REACH Malaria) worldwide project. PMI REACH Malaria goals to offer execution aid offerings and technical support to countries to accelerate advancement in complete dispatch of facility and locally-driven malaria solutions, which includes malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC), health operational structures strengthening, data collection and use for service dispatch, and other malaria prevention interventions. The Finance and Management Manager is based within a PMI REACH Malaria country team, within a broader PATH country workspace, and will oversee other financial administrative support employees. The Finance and Management Manager will head or help with all project-associated finance Management, local negotiating and grants management, adherence, and other associated financial processes project initiatives.
Duties
- Offer entire technical and managerial executive guidance in the zones of finance Management and grants management for the project.
- Set up, oversee, and offer technical support connected with the grant-making part of the project initiatives.
- Make sure that financial operational structures and methods for the project are in adherence with OIPH and PATH rules, donor requirements and good financial procedures.
- Advise country project employees on donor qualifications; and offer learning on financial and grants management, recordkeeping, business operational structures, and rules as needed.
- Offer any information or assist as needed to the worldwide project team to organize and send every month financial, pipeline documentation and every quarter accrual documentation to USAID.
- Oversee and coordinate with within and outside the organization auditors in the evaluate of country project finance & administrative support procedures and records.
- Assist efficient linkages between technical parts, grants and financial administrative support processes inside the project.
- Assist evaluations of in-country associates’ finance Management capacity and capability to follow donor qualifications. Formulate associated action strategies to handle any capacity/system differences.
- Formulate, evaluate and track programme financial plans and expenditures.
- Recognize and elevate financial and adherence risks to suitable in-country or worldwide project collaborator.
- Organize input for the yearly work strategy and financial planning process with the project team and associates.
- Assist in-country procurement for project tools and inventory as needed, in partnership with PATH's Procurement Workspace. Evaluate and authorize payment vouchers, commute cost summaries, workshop cost summaries and other adjustments for approval, precision, allowability, charge codes and accounting for improvements.
- Assist supervising spending against authorized financial plans, projections and accessible obligations
- Oversee a finance and processes team to coordinate financial planning, finance reporting, accounting, management and procurement across project needs.
- Support to the every month request of capital, based on financial plan and money movement projections, to guarantee the project possesses all the necessary capital for the processes.
