Tax Head at SabiHR in Lekk , Lagos

About the Position

The Tax Head will take full ownership of the organization’s tax plan, making sure adherence with all tax legal provisions while pushing efficient organizing and consultative to strengthen financial effectiveness across all portfolios.

Primary duties

• Head the development and implementation of tax plan in line with business targets.
• Guarantee promptness adherence with corporate tax legal provisions and statutory qualifications.
• Evaluate and authorize tax returns, filings, and associated documentation.
• Advise top level management on tax organizing, rewards, and risk risk reduction avenues.
• Track modifications in tax legislation and offer initiative-driven direction on business effect.
• Stand for the organization in audits, inquiries, and collaborations with tax governing bodies.
• Train and mentor entry-level finance/tax team members.

Credentials & Expertise

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or associated discipline.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, CITN) is essential.
• At least 7 years’ progressive tax leadership background, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position, ideally in the energy sector.
• Deep understanding of Nigerian tax legal provisions and international tax frameworks.
