Position Overview

The Warehouse Incharge is accountable for managing the daily processes of the warehouse, making sure productive receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The position ensures proper stock regulate, adherence with safety guidelines, and efficient management of warehouse employees to preserve precision, effectiveness, and timeliness in all warehouse initiatives.

Duties Warehouse Processes:

  • Supervise the receipt, confirmation, and proper storage of incoming goods.
  • Guarantee promptness and precise picking, packing, and dispatch of materials.
  • Strategy and arrange the warehouse layout for most effective space utilization.
  • Track loading and unloading methods to reduce compensation and discrepancies.

Stock Management:

  • Preserve precise stock records using Enterprise platform planning/WMS or documented guide operational structures.
  • Carry out periodic inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO (First-In-First-Out / First-Expiry-First-Out) methods are followed.
  • Track inventory levels and convey replenishment needs to the procurement team.

Adherence and Safety:

  • Guarantee alignment to organisation rules, SOPs, and warehouse industry standards.
  • Execute and track wellness, safety, and guard measures inside the warehouse.
  • Guarantee adherence with statutory and compliance obligations (where relevant).

Ongoing development:

  • Recognize process differences and endorse enhancements in warehouse processes.
  • Introduce measures to reduce wastage, reduce expenses, and enhance turnaround time.
  • Stay informed with latest warehouse management procedures and technical solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Logistics, Stock Chain Management, Business Management, or a relevant field (preferred).
  • 5 – 10 years of expertise in warehousemanagement.
  • Accreditation in stock chain/warehouse management (a desirable asset).

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes and stock management.
  • Competence in MS Workspace, Enterprise platform planning, or Warehouse Management Operational structures.
  • Executive guidance and team lead competencies.
  • Outstanding corporate and issue resolution abilities.
  • Robust meticulousness and precision.
  • Effective communication and status updates competencies.
