Role summary

We are looking for a highly driven and skilled Programme Manager with profitable company advising and project coordination proficiency to head and implement the organization’s enterprise development and women-attentive financial addition programs. The preferred candidate will possess a established history in business advisory, project coordination, multi-participant development projects, development dispatch, team lead, and MSME relation—especially with a gender and financial addition lens. This position requires a strategic thinker with robust implementation capacity, clear articulation competencies, and a enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and women’s economic empowerment.

M&E, and Learning (MEL):

Formulate frameworks and resources for data collection, learning, and programme adjustment. Monitor productivity indicators (e.g., loan preparedness, business expansion, financial literacy gains) and organize effect documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Economics, Finance, Business, or Development Studies (MSC preferred).
  • 7+ years of expertise in programme management, business advisory, and project coordination with a concentration on Micro, small, and medium enterprises, financial addition, or women entrepreneurship.
  • Accredited Manager, project (PMP/Prince2) or Accredited Business Development Service Supplier (BDSP) is a plus.
  • Proven competence in business advisory, project organizing, and implementation.
  • Robust logical, information exchange, and stakeholder engagement competencies.
  • Skilled in corporate resources (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and design resources (Canva will be an added advantage).
  • Understanding with donor status updates (e.g., GIZ, World Bank, USAID) and Monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Capability to operate independently and head cross-operational teams.

Preferred Traits:

  • Strong insight of the hurdles facing micro and small women-guided businesses in Nigeria.
  • Proven guidance expertise with programs like TEF, SEED, or LSETF.
  • Robust specialist network within Nigeria’s MSME and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Gender lens or community-related enterprise expertise is a robust advantage.
