Position Overview

We are looking for a certified and skilled Library officer to join our school's library team. The successful applicant will be in charge of coordinating the school library, offering information solutions, and assisting students and teachers in their academic pursuits.

Primary duties

• Oversee the school library, which includes cataloging, classification, and servicing & maintenance of library materials
• Offer details solutions, which includes analysis support and reader's consultative
• Formulate and execute library programs and solutions to assist student learning
• Work alongside teachers to combine library assets into syllabus organizing
• Preserve a welcoming and welcoming library environment
• Formulate and oversee the library's collection, which includes selection and weeding of materials

Qualifications

• Bsc in Library Science, Information Science, or relevant field
• 2-3 years of expertise in a school library or similar setting
• Solid understanding of library management operational structures, cataloging, and classification
• Clear articulation and people skills
• Capability to operate with students, teachers, and employees.
