Role summary

The Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Officer will offer assistance to multi-sectoral intervention in northwest and north-central Nigeria during planning phase, organizing, M&E of the programme by coordinating data and coordinating programme execution at state level, under the direction and direct oversight of the Manager, project. The Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Officer will be in charge of data collection, evaluation and status updates initiatives. S/he will help in tracking advancement of key indicators and deliver promptly documentation to the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning and PMs.

Duties

Under the direct oversight of the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Manager, and in partnership with the Programme/PMs, Site Planners, and other teammates of the projects and of the Base, the candidate will:

Capacity Development :

Help the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Manager to offer development sessions on M&E that comprise of sampling, data collection, data cleaning, evaluation and status updates standard procedures to all programme employees. Mentor records entry clerks and project officers on

Qualifications

• 3 years operating in INGO, 2 years of which should be in Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning for humanitarian and development programming
• Expertise in data collection, collation, evaluation, and documentation drafting
• Possess previous expertise in indicator tracking matrix, Power BI, 5Ws, MIS, PSS of cash-based interventions (i.e. cash for work, cash transfers or cash vouchers).
• Possess clear articulation, drafting and critical thinking.
• Possess verified ability to produce programme assist operational structures for large amounts of data within a sophisticated programme.
• Possess expertise and expertise in using DB specific software.
• Possess background in designing and top skills development and development for national teams.
• Be outstanding in verbal abilities and skilled in documentation drafting
• Possess IT diagnosing issues capabilities.
• Be resident and knowledgeable about the terrain in the Northeast Nigeria.
• Expertise designing and top skills development and development for national teams.
• Outstanding practical understanding of Office productivity software programming (Entry, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word).
• Verified ability to produce management information operational structures for large amounts of data within a sophisticated programme.

Preferred:

• Expertise in the local language
• Skilled in statistical and other software (Office productivity software bundle, SPSS, Geographic information system and ENA for SMART.
• Ready and capable to be based and commute routinely within remote zones, where solutions are limited.
• Previous expertise with similar role.
