Job Description
About the Position
The Nutrition Officer will be based in Borno State under the oversight of the Project supervisor and will assist execution of Nutrition part under the ENRICH project in Borno State The Nutrition Officer should possess outstanding understanding of the objective and status of the project; make sure that there is responsibility, and the programme targets are fulfilled. Clear and prompt communications and information exchanging with the Site Assistants and Programme Manager is essential.
Credentials
- Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Health / Community health / Nutrition / or its equivalent
- A minimum of 2 year’s expertise in Nutrition/developmental work
- Expertise of crisis nutrition work (ideally CMAM) and execution of feeding programs, which includes M&E
Other Qualifications:
Proven capacity of management, executive guidance, and collaboration
The task juggling skill.
- Adequate analytical abilities
- Outstanding planning abilities.
- Clear communication competencies in English and Hausa
- Outstanding expertise in Nigerian humanitarian assist and development circumstance
- Outstanding status updates competencies
- Clear articulation, diplomatic competencies, and skilled in writing
- Computer competence (word, excel and Internet)
- Good critical thinking, comfortable with figures and data.
