Position Overview

To oversee and process employee salaries and wages, making sure precise and prompt payments while conforming to supporting legal provisions and rules.

Duties

• Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, and other remuneration, which includes stipends, rewards and overtime.
• Explore and settle any discrepancies or concerns connected with wage processing, which includes incorrect payments or tax calculation.
• Precisely calculate and withhold applicable taxes, in addition to other conclusions like Pension, Collaborative, Dues & Levies and other necessary conclusions. 
• Ensure wage processing methods and procedures adhere with all relevant work legal provisions and rules.
• Carry out own audits to confirm the precision and thoroughness of wage processing records and methods.
• In charge of prompt and precise posting of wage processing transaction entries.

Qualifications

• Bsc or Higher national diploma in Accounting, Business Management, HR, Finance, or a relevant field.
• A member of a professional body is a plus.
• At least 2–3 years of expertise in wage processing processing or a associated Human resources/finance position.

The Person Must:

• Possess a good verbal and professional writing competencies.
• Possess outstanding expertise in wage processing operational structures, methods, and procedures.
• Have robust quantitative and critical thinking with focused awareness to description.
• Be skilled in Excel spreadsheet software and other wage processing/Human resources software.
• Possess a good comprehension of work legal provisions, tax rules, pensions, and statutory conclusions.
• Show robust analytical abilities to explore and settle discrepancies.
