Wage processing Officer - Statutory Remittances at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc in Nigeria

Position Overview

To oversee employee-associated statutory conclusions and remittances, making sure precision, timeliness, and adherence with Nigerian compliance guidelines in alignment with organisation rules.

Duties

• Calculate and process wage processing statutory conclusions (e.g., PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF).
• Ensure precise and prompt remittance to statutory bodies and third-party institutions connected with wage processing.
• Preserve current wage processing statutory remittance plans and guarantee adherence with due dates.
• Work alongside wage processing and finance teams to confirm statutory payment files.
• Resolve wage processing statutory accounts every month with finance and settle discrepancies.
• Organize wage processing statutory documentation and recordkeeping for audits and inspections.
• Stay informed of modifications in statutory wage processing rules and modify methods as appropriate.
• Help in getting ready every month wage processing payment overviews and authorizations.
• Assist recordkeeping and submitting of wage processing-associated remittance proofs.
• Oversee connections with statutory bodies and ensure specialist information exchange

Qualifications

Bsc or Higher national diploma in accounting, Business Management, HR, or relevant field. At least two years of expertise in Human resources processes, wage processing, or perks management.

The Person Must:

• Possess a good verbal and professional writing competencies.
• Possess solid understanding of Nigerian statutory wage processing rules (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, ITF, etc.).
• Be skilled in wage processing processing operational structures and Human resources/finance Enterprise resource planning software.
• Show high meticulousness and precision in managing wage processing data.
