Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial officer to join our vibrant team at Pulse Nigeria. In this position, you will be central to our financial processes coordinating bills, payments, adjustments and status updates while operating closely with sales and other departments to lead precision, adherence and effectiveness. Duties

  • Creating, reservation and clearing of bills precisely for clients using the Enterprise platform planning
  • Guarantee promptness and precise reservation and actualisation of revenues
  • Routine posting of financial record into the GL
  • Assist the management of account outstanding invoices
  • Managing supplier payments and management of account payables
  • Settlement of customer account statements operating closely with the Sales department
  • Managing tax settlement, payment and filling
  • Ensure the accurate recording of COGS from all Ad Managers and realize corresponding income in real time
  • Calculate every month earnings, changeable salaries and rewards for the Sales department and other Senior leaders
  • Ensures all bills, buy orders, tax certifications, agreements and other applicable recordkeeping are conforming according to local tax rules and uploaded / referenced in the Enterprise platform planning and Finance Google Lead
  • Assist with month closing, making sure Finance unit due dates are fulfilled
  • Assist with sales, finance and business intelligence evaluation and status updates
  • Collaborate with the Sales and other departments to guarantee adherence with operational workflows
  • Assist in all endeavors for prompt capital recovery and to minimise bad debt risk
  • Ensure a high-level of precision, legal adherence, plan and timeliness in executing all duty
  • Actively recognize and propose upgraded methods that can possess a beneficial effect and assist to attain business targets
  • Stay current possessing applicable governance policies and industry industry standard and ensure utmost adherence.
  • Assist the Sales and Finance unit in all initiatives that can assist the organization to meet income and profit targets
  • Preserve robust, trusting connections with all internal teammates and external participants
  • Execute other obligations as may be allocated by your team supervisor
  • Verify that every initiatives match with the organization Code of Carry out.

Qualifications

  • Must be a degree holder in Accounting (Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma).
  • 2 - 3 years’ demonstrated expertise in accounting processes, ideally inside a organized company.
  • Understanding with financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or any Enterprise platform planning system).
  • Must have improved expertise in Excel spreadsheet software
  • Deep knowledge of finance reporting and general ledger management.
  • Robust logical and analytical abilities with attention to description.
  • Capability to oversee various duty and due dates productively.
  • Clear articulation and people skills for operating cross-departmentally.
  • A member of a professional body or advancement towards one (ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
