Generation Superintendent at Reliable Steel and Plastic Industries Limited in Onithsha, Anambra

Position Overview

• We are looking for an skilled and outcomes-driven Generation Superintendent to supervise day-to-day activities within our plastic production operations facility.
• This position is critical to making sure productive, premium quality, and safe manufacturing workflows, especially attentive on injection molding and blow molding technical solutions.
• The preferred candidate will possess a robust technical profile in plastics production operations, established leadership competencies, and the capability to enhance generation result while preserving quality and safety guidelines.

Primary duties

• Oversee and organize routine generation initiatives across various changes to meet generation targets and dispatch plans.
• Supervise process, servicing & maintenance, and diagnosing issues of injection molding and blow molding machines.
• Verify that every generation processes adhere with safety, quality, and ecological rules.
• Track generation result and quality indicators, making modifications to enhance effectiveness and reduce waste.
• Work alongside engineering, quality assurance, servicing & maintenance, and logistics teams to streamline manufacturing workflows.
• Head and train a team of machine operators, technicians, and change supervisors.
• Execute lean production operations principles and ongoing development programs.
• Organize and evaluate routine, on a weekly basis, and every month generation documentation.
• Oversee unedited material usage, stock, and reduce non-operational time due to material shortages or tools setback.
• Formulate and ensure adherence to standard operating standardized processes (SOPs) for molding processes.

Education

Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Tech, or relevant field preferred. Technical qualifications in plastic processing or molding processes are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise (3 – 5 years) in a leadership or superintendent position inside the plastic production operations industry.
• Robust domain expertise of injection molding and blow molding machinery, materials, and methods.
• Understanding with plastic resins, mold setup, and diagnosing issues molding faults.
• Effective guidance, corporate, and verbal abilities.
• Expertise in lean production operations, Six Sigma, or other workflow optimization structured approaches will be an added advantage.
• Competence in Office productivity software and production operations software (e.g., Enterprise platform planning operational structures).
• Capability to operate under pressure and oversee various key focuses in a dynamic environment.
