Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Generation Pharmacy professional to supervise the production operations of Spoken communication Reliable Dosage (OSD) forms, which includes tablets, capsules, and powders. The position ensures adherence with GMP, compliance guidelines, and internal quality rules while preserving generation effectiveness and precise recordkeeping.

Primary duties

  • Oversee and organize routine generation initiatives inside the OSD facility.
  • Guarantee alignment to standard operating standardized processes (SOPs), Good Production operations Practice (GMP), and safety procedures.
  • Track and regulate the generation process to meet quality and effectiveness guidelines.
  • Supervise tools calibration, servicing & maintenance, and line clearance before and after generation.
  • Organize and evaluate generation documents which includes batch production operations records (BMRs) and batch wrapping records (BPRs).
  • Organize with QA (Quality assurance) and quality assurance Quality control teams for in-process checks and prompt release of goods.
  • Educate and train generation operators and specialists to maximize output and adherence.
  • Strategy and assign assets (labor, materials, and tools) to attain generation plans.
  • Explore and settle any generation deviations, tools malfunctions, or non-conformances.
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping and adherence with compliance-related audits and inspections.
  • Assist ongoing development programs to enhance methods and reduce waste.

Credentials and Expertise

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Academic qualification with ongoing permit to practice (Pharmacy professional Council of Nigeria).
  • 3 - 5 years’ expertise in a pharmaceutical production operations environment (OSD expertise is a robust advantage).
  • Good comprehension of GMP, GLP, and compliance guidelines (NAFDAC, WHO, etc.).
  • Expertise with production operations tools (e.g., granulators, tablet presses, coating machines, blister packing).

  • Effective guidance and team lead competencies.
  • Outstanding issue resolution and strategic judgment abilities.
  • Meticulousness with robust recordkeeping and status updates competencies.
  • Competence in Office productivity software resources and generation management operational structures.
