Accounting officer at Robert Johnson Nigeria Limited in Lagos

About the Position

We are looking for a meticulous and initiative-driven Accounting officer to join our finance team. The successful applicant will be in charge of coordinating daily financial financial record, getting ready financial statements, making sure adherence with accounting guidelines, and assisting entire financial processes of the organization.

Primary duties

• Document routine financial financial record precisely and prompt
• Organize and resolve financial statements and organisation accounts
• Process bills, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Help in getting ready financial plans, balance sheet and income statement, and management documentation
• Track outstanding bills and receivable to guarantee prompt settlements
• Preserve proper submitting of financial documents and records
• Help with within and outside the organization audits
• Guarantee adherence with accounting rules, tax rules, and financial industry standards.

Qualifications

• Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree Academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field from a identified Tertiary institution or Polytechnic
• At least 1 - 3 years of expertise in an accounting or finance position (fresh graduates may also submit application)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Competence in Excel spreadsheet software and financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or similar Enterprise platform planning is a plus)
• Outstanding logical, corporate, and analytical abilities
• High level of honesty and reliability, precision, and attention to description
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
