Role summary

The Tax Technical Desk (TD) Manager will be in charge of pushing technical superiority, expertise management, and support programs inside the Tax Division. The position requires robust specialized skill in Nigerian and international tax legal provisions, in addition to outstanding drafting and analysis competencies, and the capability to supply influential capacity-building plans. The TD Manager will head the project setup of bulletins, technical warnings, and publications; organize within and outside the organization tax development sessions; and spearhead support programs on representing the firm, which includes assessments and strategic guidance on proposed tax and compliance-related rules and legislation.

Credentials and Expertise

• At least Second-class (upper division) Bsc from an accredited tertiary institution.
• Specialist certification: ACA, ACCA, CITN, or equivalent.
• At least 9 years’ tax expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in a tax technical, expertise management, or development-attentive position.

Demonstrated expertise in:

• Drafting technical bulletins, warnings, or articles.
• Designing and supplying capacity-building plans (within and outside the organization).
• Compelling in tax support or regulatory framework evaluate programs.
• Robust documented and spoken communication competencies.
• Robust team lead and development competencies.
• Outstanding facilitation and public speaking.
• Outstanding logical, analysis, and analytical abilities.
• High meticulousness and dedication to quality.
