Explanation
- Delivers assist in the process, supervising, and servicing & maintenance of pumps, valves, pipelines, and connected cargo operational structures onboard the FSO/FPSO.
- The position ensures safe and productive move of crude oil, generated water, and other fluids under the oversight of the pump man or cargo manager.
- This role is critical in preserving adherence with business and safety guidelines for remote marine operations marine/petroleum sector processes.
Primary duties
- Help the pump man in the process of cargo pumps, ballast pumps, stripping pumps, and connected operational structures.
- Track pressure gauges, flow meters, and pump effectiveness to guarantee smooth processes.
- Assist crude oil loading, storage, move, and offloading processes in adherence with organisation and international guidelines.
- Carry out standard procedure checks, cleaning, and minor servicing & maintenance of cargo operational structures, pipelines, valves, and pump guest accommodation tools.
- Help with ballast regulate processes (ballasting and de-ballasting initiatives).
- Make sure that health and safety protocols, license-to-work operational structures, and ecological rules are firmly was aligned with.
- Preserve cleanliness and room maintenance services of the pump guest accommodation and cargo deck zones.
- Documentation promptly any abnormalities, leaks, or malfunctions in pump operational structures to the Pump Man or Cargo Manager.
Qualification
- At least WASC/O-Level certification.
- Valid Capable Mariner Certification (AB) from a identified maritime authority.
- Applicable FSO/FPSO or tanker expertise (at least 1–5 years).
