Role summary

A procurement compliance and adherence manager ensures an DCP's procurement initiatives match with organisation rules, standardized best practices, and lawful rules. The scope comprises conceptualizing and optimizing procurement rules and methods, coordinating a oversight structure, monitoring risk mitigation strategy, executing adherence programs through development and audits, and status updates on effectiveness for executive review.

Duties

  • Compliance-related Supervising: Stay informed about applicable regulations, rules, and standardized best practices to guarantee the organization's procurement initiatives remain conforming.
  • Risk mitigation strategy: Recognize, evaluate, and minimize risks linked to procurement initiatives, executing plans to prevent violation.
  • Development and Direction: Offer learning, guidance, and direction to procurement teams and other participants on compliance rules, standardized processes, and industry standards.
  • Effectiveness Supervising & Status updates: Check adherence, track advancement actions, and generate consistent documentation on compliance and effectiveness to assist strategic judgment.
  • Workflow optimization: Head projects and programs using structured approaches like Lean principles to improve the effectiveness and performance of procurement methods and operational structures.
  • Participant Partnership: Collaborate with various within and outside the organization participants, which includes suppliers and other departments, to guarantee efficient execution of compliance frameworks and rules.
  • Adherence Audits: Carry out guarantee initiatives and audits to confirm compliance to established compliance and adherence qualifications.

Certifications:

Accredited Specialist in Planned procurement and Procurement (CPSM) Chartered Institute of Procurement & Stock (CIPS) accreditation
