Job Description

Duties

  • Ensure the document of all financial financial record is finished on time and with error-free precision in line with national accounting guidelines, IFRS and group management rules and standardized processes.
  • Oversee the end of month closing process as per the group finance rules and standardized processes.
  • Ownership of local financial information (GL and Ledger summary) and the effectiveness of the financial team in terms of precision and delivering consistently in line with the group organisation rules, standardized processes, and procedures.
  • Serve as the single point of reach out and owner for any adherence, compliance-related, stand-alone and group audits, tax inspections and other audits etc.
  • The formation, implementation, and recordkeeping of necessary accounting process regulates to guarantee quality and adherence which includes proposing status reports to the financial rules and standardized processes.
  • Getting ready every month, every quarter, and yearly statutory and management balance sheet and income statement, financial plans, projections, and other documentation as necessary by the worldwide finance executive team.
  • Monitoring the finance and accounting operational structures and ultimate responsibility for local IFRS/GAAP and tax adherence in the respective jurisdiction.
  • Fulfilling the role of concluding authority regarding any financial matters and presenting assist on questions and requests.
  • Work in tandem with the worldwide finance team and serve as their local delegate to oversee the adherence of all business processes.
  • Generating documentation for the Group CFO team and monitoring external financial solutions vendors.

Credentials

  • Chartered Accounting officer with a minimum of 3-5 years of expertise and a strong insight of IFRS.
  • A minimum of 3 years of expertise in a global corporate environment and coordinating a team.
  • Demonstrated achievement coordinating statutory and management status updates & associated initiatives.
  • Outstanding team, executive guidance, and communications competencies.
  • Capacity to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments and to assume responsibility of issue resolution and adjust to new hurdles.
  • In-depth understanding of the local tax legislation/adherence and practical expertise of not less than 3 years with all tax filings (CIT, PIT, WHT, VAT, etc.).
  • Competence in Office productivity software goods in addition to documented and verbal fluency in the English language.
  • Expertise with D365 would be beneficial.
  • A valid and current National Identity Card/NIMC slip is essential upon beginning of this position.
