Primary duties

• Collect, organize, and wash hotel linens, towels, employees uniforms, and visitor laundry.
• Use suitable washing, drying, and ironing methods based on fabric type.
• Make sure that all laundry is cleaned, pressed, and stored properly.
• Recognize and treat stains to preserve fabric quality.
• Operate laundry machines, dryers, and ironing tools safely and productively.
• Documentation any malfunctioning laundry tools to servicing & maintenance for repairs.
• Preserve a clean and structured laundry zone.
• Examine washed items for cleanliness and loss, making sure high guidelines are fulfilled.
• Keep track of linen and standardized stock to documentation shortages or compensation.
• Help in ordering laundry inventory which includes detergents and fabric softeners.
• Manage visitor laundry requests, which includes washing, drying, and ironing.
• Follow specific directions for sensitive fabrics and special care items.
• Bundle and return visitor laundry in a prompt and specialist manner.
• Follow proper hygiene and health and safety protocols, which includes managing chemicals safely.
• Follow hotel rules regarding lost and found items in laundry.
• Guarantee adherence with health and sanitation rules.
