Casual Worker - Cleaner / cook at Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Abuja

Job Description

Adjustment when requested or a minimum of once a week the sheets and pillowcase of each engaged guest accommodation;
Adjustment when requested or a minimum of once a week the towels in the bathrooms;
Extend the blankets of each guest accommodation outside a minimum of once a week;
Coordinates the personal laundry of employees, towels and sheets of the houses;
Ensure the proper ironing of personal linen and household linen.

When requested by the expatriate employee, buy fruits, vegetables and other foodstuffs;
When requested by the expatriate employee, engage in the project setup of meals;
Preserve own hygiene in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning project setup;
Keep kitchens clean and store utensils properly.

Confirm and make sure that hygienic tools and cleaning goods are accessible in homes, and send to the Admin a statement of needs as required;
Make sure that window locks, French doors, doors work properly;
Make sure that all doors and windows are closed all the time;
Answer to the Admin any necessary servicing & maintenance and repairs of the facilities of the houses;
Preserve proper records of all the workspace and guesthouse inventory in order and accurate manner.
Any other obligations as allocated by the direct supervisor.
