Head of financial operations, DCT at Dangote Group in Obajana, Kogi

Role summary

We are excited to greet a strategic and outcomes-oriented Head of financial operations (HOF) to steer the finance Management of our logistics organisation, which operates a fleet of over 3,000 trucks located at our factory in Obajana, Kogi state. The HOF will be instrumental in nurturing transformational adjustment, supporting financial discipline, optimizing process effectiveness, and assisting long-term growth. This role documentation straight to the Director of Transport and works closely with the CFO.

Team lead & Compliance:

• Build and train a top-performing finance team with robust logical and business capabilities.
• Strengthen internal regulates, compliance, and adherence frameworks.
• Oversee connections with banks, auditors, tax governing bodies, and external participants.

 Credentials & Expertise

• Bsc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant field (Master of business administration or specialist certification which includes ACA, ACCA, CPA preferred).
• At least 12 years’ progressive expertise in finance executive guidance, with a minimum of 5 years as a senior finance manager in logistics, transportation, production operations, or asset-heavy industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale fleet management, funding, and business expense management. 
• Solid understanding of Enterprise platform planning/SAP operational structures, financial forecasting, and analytics-based strategic judgment.
• Exceptional executive guidance, information exchange, and stakeholder engagement competencies.
