Position Overview

We are looking for a very driven and meticulous Lab technician to join our team. The preferred candidate will be in charge of executing various building-associated laboratory tests, which includes soil, asphalt, concrete, and site tests, making sure that all outcomes adhere with relevant building guidelines.

Primary duties

• Execute a variety of laboratory tests, which includes tests on concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, making sure adherence with building guidelines.
• Help in secondary running test connected with permeability, power, and materials acceptance of soil, concrete, and asphalt.
• Organize and preserve precise laboratory records for samples and tests according to relevant building guidelines.
• Assemble, input, and documentation running test outcomes precisely.
• Ensure the laboratory is in adherence with certification guidelines.
• Document and preserve tools calibration and confirmation data records.

Credentials

• For Laboratory Technicians and Top level Laboratory Technicians:
• Academic qualification/Higher national diploma in Civil Engineering/Tech, Geosciences, or relevant field is essential.
• At least 2-5 years of applicable operating expertise in a building laboratory, especially in soil, asphalt, concrete, and site tests.
• Computer competence is compulsory for Top level Laboratory Technicians.
