Overview

A Driver is in charge of safely operating a vehicle and offering superior client support to allocated routes. Drivers navigate residential environments, congested roadways, alleyways, and high-traffic zones all while making sure that their vehicle remains in adherence with state and federal rules, in addition to organisation guidelines.

Duties

• Executes pre- and post-trip assessment of the vehicle, documenting and status updates any mechanical or safety concerns.
• Operates vehicle in a safe manner in adherence with the qualifications, and all local, state, and federal legal provisions.
• Courteously interacts with clients, both within and outside the organization, making sure clients are serviced in a specialist and efficient timeframe.
• Documentation service concerns, which includes prevented alleyways, overweight receptacles, safety risks, or impassable streets, to Route Manager or Dispatch agent.
• At once inform of any accidents, injuries, or real estate loss.
• Sustains and status reports route sheets and driver data records.
