Purchasing and supply chain Officer at Yinson Holdings in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

Accept and file all requisitions from the Units and check in authorization of requisitions by Superintendents / Processes Managers;
Place orders with suppliers as necessary and check in until dispatch onboard;
Enter orders into the Buying system and keep the system current to finalization;
Accept and document verification of receipt of goods from the Units;
Resolve bills received against buy orders and verification of goods received;
New supplier profiling for authorization and registration in the Authorized Supplier list;
Track service providers / suppliers goods managing procedures;
Check in service providers / suppliers and Logistics Agents regarding Landed Goods for service and repairs and keep track on status of same;
Help in supervising Organisation Logistics Agents’ import / export initiatives and associated local logistics for effectiveness;
Help in collation of processes statistics for Nigerian Content and associated status updates;
Advise the Buying Manager on buying and logistics matters requiring attention;
Adhere with Organisation HSSEQ System in executing obligations.
