Role summary

We are seeking an skilled Business data analyst who possesses logical and analytical abilities. The candidate will collect data from various suppliers and then evaluate and analyze it using data evaluation resources to offer meaningful information and findings to assist businesses make better-informed decisions

Duties

• Obtain data from primary or secondary data suppliers and preserve databases/data operational structures.
• Analyze data, evaluate outcomes using statistical methods, and offer ongoing documentation.
• Executing data cleaning and evaluation to evaluate and enhance the quality and meaning of data
• Using statistical resources to recognize, evaluate, and analyze patterns and practices in sophisticated data sets can be supportive for the diagnosis and projection
• Evaluating local, national, and international developments that effect both the company and the industry
• Getting ready documentation for the management stating practices, patterns, and forecasts using applicable data
• Getting ready concluding evaluation documentation for the participants to comprehend the data-evaluation steps, empowering them to take significant decisions based on various facts and practices.

Credentials and Competencies

• A Academic qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other applicable fields is essential.
• A minimum of three(3) years of Data evaluation expertise using Excel spreadsheet software, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and Google Sheets. Expertise in statistical structured approaches is a plus.
• Applicable Business intelligence Accreditation (Google Business intelligence A member of a professional body or Microsoft Business data analyst Associate Accreditation) is essential.
• Solid understanding of Geographic information system resources (ArcGIS or QGIs) will be an added advantage
• Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking are necessary. The candidate must possess outstanding documented, spoken communication, data and graphical verbal abilities,
• Robust math, logic, and statistical competencies
• Adept at queries, documentation drafting, and demonstrating findings.
