Accounting Assistant at Heavy Machinery Dealership (HMD) Limited in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Position Overview

As an Accounting Assistant, you will assist the finance team with records entry, account adjustments, payment processing, and basic finance reporting. You will learn to use financial system, help with every month closings, and preserve structured finance records.

Duties

• Help with records entry and posting of financial record into financial system.
• Assist account adjustments and every month financial close methods.
• Preserve structured records in the accounting department.
• Organize basic Google sheet documentation, overviews, and trackers.
• Learn and follow organisation accounting standardized processes and regulates.
• Execute any other finance-associated managerial duty as allocated.

Qualifications

• Applicants should hold a Bsc or Higher national diploma with 0–1 years of expertise in Accounting with 0-1 year expertise.

• Basic expertise in financial system and resources.
• Good competence in Excel spreadsheet software, G-suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Lead, Calendar) and other workspace resources.
• Capability to operate productively with minimal oversight and deliver on time.
• Effective communication and people skills.
• Resides close to the site.
• Recently deployed for NYSC or recently discharged from NYSC.
