Laundry worker / Washerman at a Newly Established Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services Company in Lugbe Police Signboard, Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

As part of its initial stage, the organization is looking for to employ a devoted Laundry worker / Washerman to play a main responsibility in making sure smooth day-to-day activities, outstanding client experiences, and the entire success of the business. The Laundry worker will be in charge of sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding laundry items, making sure premium quality service to clients. The position requires meticulousness, cleanliness, and the capability to manage laundry tools safely.

Primary duties

• Organize laundry items according to fabric type, color, and cleaning qualifications.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing tools safely and productively.
• Ensure proper use of detergents and cleaning agents.
• Fold, bundle, and label finished laundry items.
• Preserve cleanliness and orderliness of the work zone.
• Documentation any loss or loss of items at once to the Shop Manager.
• Help in stock regulate of cleaning inventory.

Credentials and Competencies

• Finalization of High school and SSCE Certitficate with 3 years work expertise.
• Previous laundry or cleaning expertise in garmet cleaning in organized entities like hotels, hospitals etc is a plus.
• Meticulousness and capability to manage sensitive fabrics.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and operating machinery.
• Capability to adhere to guidance and health and safety protocols.
• Effective communication competencies and a positive work mindset.
