Role summary

We are looking for a proficient and devoted IT Officer to oversee, preserve, and enhance our Technology infrastructure and assist the organization’s technological processes across our workspaces in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Asaba.

Primary duties

• Install, set up, and preserve computing equipment, software, and networks.
• Track and diagnose issues IT support to guarantee most effective effectiveness.
• Offer IT assistance and development to employees.
• Oversee data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity procedures.
• Preserve IT asset stock and ensure proper recordkeeping.
• Work alongside vendors and service vendors for system upgrades and repairs.
• Ensure the guard of operational structures, networks, and data in adherence with organisation rules.
• Assist the consolidation and deploying of new technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma in Computer Science, Information Tech, or relevant field.
• 5 to 10years of demonstrated expertise in IT systems support, system management, or network management.
• Solid understanding of operating operational structures (Windows/Linux), relationship building, and hardware servicing & maintenance.
• Expertise with internet service technical solutions, routers, switches, and firewalls is a plus.
• Competence in diagnosing issues, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
• Effective communication competencies and capability to operate under pressure.
• Applicable IT qualifications (e.g., Cisco certified network associate, CompTIA, ITIL) is a plus.
