Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly proficient and skilled Record & Records Management Officer to head a complete records management and digital transformation plan for building and structure projects. The successful applicant will be in charge of designing, executing, and coordinating strong operational structures for the productive storage, retrieval, and preservation of physical and digital records connected with projects, which includes agreements, designs, licenses, and adherence documents.
Adherence & Compliance:
Formulate, execute, and preserve complete record management rules and standardized processes that adhere possessing applicable information security legal provisions and rules (e.g., GDPR, NDPR), making sure the secrecy, honesty and reliability, and accessibility of records. Ensure secure managing, storage, and disposal of sensitive or private records, preserving the highest level of secrecy and honesty and reliability, and minimizing risk. Work alongside lawful, adherence, and audit teams to guarantee compliance to guidelines, compliance obligations, and standardized best practices, and offer informed opinion on records management matters.
Credentials & Expertise
- Bsc in Library & Information Science, Records Management, Information Tech, or a relevant field (MSC preferred).
- At least 7 years progressive expertise in records/record management, with a minimum of 3 years in a top level or supervisory capacity, presenting competence in coordinating sophisticated records management projects
- Proven competence in physical archiving operational structures, digital record management software, and records management industry standards, with a deep knowledge of record lifecycle, retention rules, and adherence frameworks.
- Practical experience with scanning, OCR (Optical Character Acknowledgment), and metadata admin systems, and exhibited capability to adjust to new technical solutions and operational structures.

- Exceptional planning abilities, with focused awareness to description, and capability to oversee various projects at the same time.
- Capability to design and oversee both physical and electronic submitting operational structures, making sure productive storage, retrieval, and preservation of records.
- Effective guidance and project coordination capabilities, with capability to motivate and mentor team members.
- High level of honesty and reliability, secrecy, and discretion, with capability to manage sensitive or private records.
- Clear articulation and stakeholder engagement competencies, with capability to offer informed opinion and direction on records management matters.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accredited Records Manager (CRM)
- ISO 15489 Records Management Accreditation
- Information Compliance Specialist (IGP).
Agreement Description:
The agreement will be for a temporary of one year, with possibility of extension based on effectiveness and corporate needs. The successful applicant will be anticipated to operate 40 hours weekly, and may be necessary to operate any time to meet project due dates.
