DAG Industries Nigeria is digitizing. You’ll build dependable data pipelines and models that turn unedited data into trustworthy, data analysis-prepared data collections—fuelling decisions across the business in real time.

Duties What you’ll do:

• Own data pipelines comprehensive: Design, build, and preserve batch pipelines for all business units.
• Model the data: Execute reliable information models that assist BI, ML, and business application scenarios.
• Oversee storage layers: Produce modern data lakes/lakehouses and warehouse schemas; ensure productive partitioning, compaction, and expense management.
• Harden data accuracy: Execute tests, agreements, and observability (lineage, metadata, SLAs).
• Secure & regulate: Submit application industry standards for IAM, data masking, encryption, and adherence with NDPR and organisation rules.
• Work alongside & enable: Collaborate with our business units to establish data collections, issue recordkeeping, and enable self-service.
• Automate the operational base: Use CI/CD and Structure-as-Code to offering and preserve data structure reliably and use resources for process orchestration.
• Constantly enhance: Profile task volumes, tune roles, and reduce expenses while optimizing reliability and effectiveness.

Nice to possess:

• Airflow/Dagster orchestration proficiency; dbt for transformations.
• Expertise about lakehouse patterns (Delta/Apache Hudi/Iceberg) and columnar data layouts (Parquet).
• Data accuracy/observability tools utility (Great Requirements, Monte Carlo, OpenLineage).
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Development-operations) and Automated infrastructure provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• BI exposure (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Qlik Sense) and ML function pipelines (Feast, Tecton) a plus.
• Domain expertise in automotive, aftermarket, logistics, or multi-on-site service networks.
