Project Explanation

• Northeast Nigeria is at present facing an expanding humanitarian crisis with a vast number of Internally Displaced Persons in need of crisis support.
• These IDPs are living among organizer networks, lacking entry to livelihoods and assets, ultimately top to unprecedented levels of malnutrition and food insecurity.
• FHI 360 possesses been operating in Nigeria for over 30 years and is now expanding initiatives in Borno state to address the IDP crisis.
• FHI 360 is expanding its proficiency by responding to this humanitarian crisis through combined WASH, Health/Nutrition and Protection interventions

Basic Operation

Under the direction of the logistics coordinator or as assigned, the driver will be in charge to Transport FHI 360 employees, advisors/ tools, and program goods to and fro Workspace, Visitor house/Hotels/Airport/Hospital/Agency workspaces/warehouse etc.

Obligations and Duties

• Check the vehicle prior to its use in the morning and after use.
• Check, on taking over a vehicle, that the items listed on the vehicle check list and the items listed in the vehicle resources and materials stock are show and in full functioning order.
• Documentation faults / loss at once.
• Send every month mileage/ fuel usage & Servicing & maintenance answer to the chief driver.
• Verify that every vehicle journeys are approved in improve.
• Document every movement in the logbook at the begin and finalization of the journey.
• Ensure vehicles record which includes coverage is valid at all times/keep Documents folder current.
• Make sure that the keys and vehicle documents are kept in a secure place when the vehicle is not in use.
• Ensure the use of seat belts by all on board before moving the vehicle.
• Lead FHI 360 vehicles on the authorize speed limit on the different route and abide by the fleet regulatory framework.
• Documentation all system issue/ accidents at once which includes near mist.
• Always ensures the safety of passengers
• Keep to security procedure and alert.
• Assist logistics/ warehouse clerk as necessary
