Duties

- In partnership with each service activity manager/manager, preserve and assist the daily execution of infection prevention and regulate procedures comprises standard precautions and risk evaluation in health systems in all operational units which includes sterilization, laundry and kitchen.
- Based on a provided patient-diagnosis, team up with the medical team to assess the need and assist for IPC execution, if needed, for transmission-based precautions (air, droplet and con-tact).
- In partnership with the service manager, execute transmission-based precautions for air, droplet and reach out transmissible diseases when indicated, and track compliance.
- Offer consistent clinical and technical oversight, development and assist to the employees on IPC associated is-sues using current resources which includes audits, checklists, or surveillance.
- Make sure that corporate components in the facility are respected (bed spacing, number of handwashing stations etc…), the accurate ‘clean and dirty flows’ inside the healthcare facility and together with the Logistics Manager and Water and Sanitation Manager, that the crucial WatSan qualifications are accessible in the health systems.
- Enhance adherence with aseptic care technique and the accurate use of antiseptics, detergent and disinfectants, through development and audits.
- Guarantee standard, accurate and rational use of IPC material and tools and track usage in-cludes cleaning materials and tools, PPE, etc.
- As core member of the Infection Prevention and Regulate Board, make sure the meeting is consistent, lively and pro-active, coordinating the development and checking in the Infection Prevention and Regulate Action Strategy.
- Engage and organize actively in other group/ as Antimicrobial Stewardship and Quality of Care.
- Offer efficient response in case of epidemics and MDRO warn/outbreak and activation of contingen-cy strategy and outbreak response board.
- Active involvement to nursing care regarding IPC components.
- Elaborate scheduled reporting and session notes to offer current and dependable information about IPC initiatives.
- Carry out managerial duty together with Human resources regarding employees hiring process, development/induction, assessment, possibility discovery, mentoring, development, and information exchange to guarantee the level, size, and amount of expertise necessary.
- Arrange and organize the oversight of the team under his/her duty and engage in the connected Human resources assessment methods.
- Distribute consistent response/documentation to the IPC board and worried supervisors, NAM, MAM, MTL, PMR, and employees as needed on positive points that need advancement.
Qualifications
Interested applicants should have an OND / Bachelor's degree Academic qualification with a minimum of 2 years work expertise.
