Head of technology at a Leading Tier 1 Financial Institution - Verraki in Lagos

Position Explanation

As Head of technology (CTO) you will offer strategic and engineering guidance for the development, execution, and evolution of the bank’s entire tech infrastructure. This position owns the enterprise’s tech architecture, engineering dispatch, and creative invention schedule — making sure that channels are ability to scale, secure, and future-prepared in line with business and compliance-related needs. You'll operate at the highest organisational level, defining and top the institution's tech direction within overarching business targets, assuming full responsibility for all tech-associated programs and results.

Competencies & Traits:

•  Proven competence in core banking channels like Finacle or Oracle FLEXCUBE. 
• Effective guidance in hybrid cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and VMware. 
• Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes for code-defined infrastructure. 
• In-depth understanding of SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and enterprise network & cybersecurity (Cisco, Fortinet). 
• Track document of supplying large-scale structure and cloud transformation. 
• Engineering-first mentality with fluency in Secure devops and modern dispatch models. 
• Robust speaker with the capability to participate executive and compliance-related participants.
