Position Objective

Oversee the organization’s finance records, status updates, and statutory adherence in line with Nigerian legal provisions, tax rules, and relevant accounting guidelines, while assisting process effectiveness and strategic judgment.

Primary duties

• Preserve precise financial records and organize every month/yearly balance sheet and income statement in adherence with IFRS.
• Guarantee promptness submitting and payment of VAT, WHT, PAYE, Organisation Earnings Tax, and other statutory obligations.
• Check adherence with Nigerian tax legal provisions, Pension Reform Act, and CBN rules where relevant.
• Organize financial plans, projections, and cost evaluation to assist management decisions.
• Execute robust internal regulates to ensure protection of organisation assets and ensure data precision.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax governing bodies, and authorities as necessary.

Credentials & Expertise

• Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a associated discipline.
• 3 - 5 years accounting expertise, ideally in Group, FMCG, or Financial Institutions in Nigeria.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACA, or ACCA) is is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Nigerian tax legal provisions, pension schemes, and legal adherence.
