Chief, Business Intelligence at Unified Payments Services Limited in Lagos

Position Targets

• The Chief of the Business Intelligence Department will be in charge of top the design and execution of analytics-based plans to assist key business decisions.
• This position includes monitoring business intelligence, effectiveness status updates, and findings production to lead strategic programs and process effectiveness across the financial technology company.
• The individual will play a vital function in transforming data into implementable intelligence, making sure data accuracy, and aligning BI initiatives with business targets.

Obligations & Duties 

• Formulate and head the implementation of the organization’s business intelligence and data analysis plan.
• Supervise the collection, evaluation, and analysis of sophisticated data to offer strategic findings for strategic judgment.
• Work alongside cross-operational teams to recognize data needs and supply tailored BI initiatives.
• Design and execute ability to scale status updates operational structures and dashboards that track key effectiveness indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure the honesty and reliability, precision, and guard of data across all channels and operational structures.
• Leverage data science and machine learning methods to uncover patterns, practices, and commercial opportunities.
• Mentor data administration programs to guarantee proper data governance and adherence possessing applicable rules.
• Display information findings and strategic strategic guidance to strategic leadership and applicable participants.
• Oversee and train a team of data analysts and BI experts to build corporate ability in data analysis.
• Stay abreast of market trends and emerging technical solutions in business intelligence and financial technology.
• Head projects targeted at optimizing customer experience, process effectiveness, and income optimization through data findings.
• In collaboration with Human resources, in charge of attracting, recruiting, inspiring, compelling and maintaining employees in their units/departments and directorates by institutionalizing a healthy professional environment, nurturing advancement through development and progression avenues, supporting open dialog and response, identifying payments, and making sure fair and welcoming procedures.

Qualifications Education:

Bsc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a relevant field. A MSC in Business Data analysis, Information Operational structures, or a similar discipline is highly preferred.

General Expertise:

Deep knowledge of the financial technology industry, goods, and digital financial solutions.

Specialized abilities:

• Skilled in data visualization and BI resources (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Improved expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis resources.
• Competence in data warehousing, ETL methods, and cloud data channels (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Expertise executing improved data analysis models and machine learning algorithms.
• Deep knowledge of database administration, data administration, and adherence in a financial technology environment.

Qualifications:

Applicable qualifications which includes Accredited Business Intelligence Specialist (CBIP), Microsoft Accredited: Business data analyst Associate, or equivalent are a plus.

Expertise:

At least 10 years of expertise in business intelligence, business intelligence, or a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years in a executive guidance or executive position. Established history of using data to lead strategic decisions in a financial technology or innovation-led environment.
