Role summary
- The State Director is part of the top level executive team for ECEWS, in a decentralized leadership hierarchy and forms part of the strategic team that directs the processes of ECEWS on the ACE Project.
- H/She is in charge of programme organizing, execution, supervising, and status updates of the interventions executed by ECEWS on the ACE Project.
- H/She delivers technical and management executive guidance in HIV prevention, care and treatment, TB and Combined Medical Solutions and formulate technical plans and supervise their design and execution for ECEWS ACE Project making sure the suitable application of theory and industry standard to the design and execution of community health interventions.
- /She is responsible for judicious use of all assets entrusted with ECEWS and its associates in the allocated state.
- Supervise the development of plans for the design and execution of the ACE Project community health interventions which includes HIV/Helps interventions, linked with care and treatment initiatives. Others comprise of TB, RH/FP, Malaria, Cervical cancer screening etc
- Make sure that suitable technical plans, rules and SOPs are conceptualize and executed in accordance with ECEWS, USAID, OGAC and Nigerian rules
- Engage during the formation of and observes work strategies and financial plans; ensures suitable levels of technical support in programme processes; arranges work collaboratively endeavors in programme execution; ensures suitable programme supervising and precise financial and programmatic status updates.
- Collaborate with the applicable departments to establish and implement a capacity development strategy to offer support to the state workspace for efficient programme organizing, execution and supervising.
- Offer entire oversight for ECEWS state administrative team and guarantee adherence with technical, programmatic, binding and financial qualifications set by ECEWS and its donors.
- In charge of the entire management and synchronization of ECEWS initiatives at the state workspace.
- Act as the point of reach out of ECEWS with government authorities and organize and work alongside all public sector and NGO associates at the state.
- With the support of the country workspace Monitoring and evaluation employees, track all intervention plans to guarantee that they meet binding, financial and programmatic targets.
- Offer programmatic/technical support to all local ECEWS associates during planning phase, execution, modification, M&E of project initiatives.
- Offer technical support through the evaluate and/or drafting of procedures, papers, documentation to guarantee precision and appropriateness.
- Make sure that outcomes from analysis and released industry standards are merged into ECEWS interventions and support significantly to this literature.
- Organize all skills development initiatives for ECEWS associates at the state level.
- Evaluate periodic documentation (programmatic and financial) provided by all partnering associates at the state workspace level and advance same to HQ.
- Perform consistent supervising of visits to project sites as necessary.
- Make sure that all ECEWS assets and other assets are productively handled.
- Work alongside other IPs based in the state to organize project initiatives.
- Execute other obligations as allocated.
