Job Description
Role Overview
The A-STEP study, a pre- and post-interventional study in three Nigerian states. The primary objective is to formulate and aviator and evaluate the effect of a ability to scale teaching intervention on over-the-counter antibiotic dispensing among pharmacists and patent medicine vendors using standardized patients to measure the result of interest. This study will complement the endeavors by the Nigerian government to reduce microbial resistance in the Nigerian population.
Explanation and targets
Under the oversight of the Project supervisor- A-STEP Study, the Analysis Support (Central) will offer assistance in the items listed initiatives.
Duties
- Assist data collection from the study population comprising group pharmacists and proprietary patent medicine vendors.
- Assist and engage as Standardized Patients where relevant.
- Ensure finalize, productive and active client engagement of the selected group pharmacists and PPMVS as the sample population of the study.
- Assist and carry out surveys, interviews, and attentive group discussions as relevant inside the study.
- Ensure the quality of data collection and assist in the relation endeavors with participants.
- Assist the development programme, organizing and distribution of study findings as relevant.
- Assist all other study-associated initiatives as mandated by the Study organizer.
Core Qualifications
- Exhibited mentoring and training capability.
- Robust people skills and capability to operate with people of different profile.
- Effective communication (spoken communication and documented) and facilitation competencies.
- Competence in application of MS Workspace – (Word, Spreadsheet, and PowerPoint), other relevant software.
Education and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in any Health or Community-related Sciences, and Education.
- A minimum of 1 year of work expertise.
- Interpersonal abilities- effective communication, Interviewing, Data Collection, Meeting Synchronization, data, transcribing audio and video recordings.
