Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning Officer at Bincike International in Kaduna

Position Overview

The M&E, Responsibility, and Learning (Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning) Officer will be in charge of the design, execution, and management of the Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning structure for Bincike International's projects in the region. The officer will ensure efficient data collection, evaluation, and status updates to guide programme decisions, show effect, and assist corporate learning.

Primary duties

• Formulate and execute project-specific Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning strategies, which includes indicators, data collection resources, and structured approaches.
• Carry out consistent site visits to track project initiatives and ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee project databases, interpret data, and support to internal and donor documentation.
• Establish and oversee responsibility mechanisms, which includes response and service issues channels, to guarantee group involvement and transparency.
• Coordinate consistent learning sessions with project employees to assess effectiveness and distribute industry standards.
• Offer IT assistance and development to employees on Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning notions and resources.

Credentials

• A Bsc in a applicable field which includes Statistics, Community-related Sciences, Development Studies, or a associated discipline.
• Proven operating expertise in both Kaduna and Katsina states is a compulsory obligation.
• At least 4-5years of expertise in a similar Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning position, ideally inside the humanitarian or development sector.
• Exhibited expertise in insight-driven data collection methods and evaluation.
• Competence in data evaluation software (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, SPSS, Excel spreadsheet software).
• Outstanding documentation drafting and public speaking.
• Clear expression and people skills.
