Dispatch Attendant at Aggregon Foods Nigeria Limited in Ajah, Lagos

Role description

The Dispatch Attendant is in charge of coordinating all dispatch orders from receipt to dispatch, making sure speed, precision, and quality service. They also assist in-house processes when needed, preserving high guidelines of client support and food safety.

Duties

• Verify that every dispatch devices (POS, tablets, apps) are charged, linked to the internet, and operational.
• Ensure dispatch bags and containers are clean, insulated, and in good requirement.
• Recieve and verify proof of payment through WhatsApp for website orders, bundle the order after payment verification, and dispatch at once.
• Modify accessibility of items on all dispatch channels to avoid wrong orders.
• Label orders transparently with client names and order numbers to prevent blend-ups.
• Double-check all orders for thoroughness, precision, and visual communication before dispatch.
• Preserve cleanliness and hygiene in the wrapping and dispatch zone at all times.
• Offer riders with client deals with, directions, and special directions as required.
• Address dispatch-associated questions from clients promptly and politely.
• Advance any service issues or response to the superiors at once.
• Preserve a specialist and friendly mindset when trading with clients and riders.
• Help waitresses during peak hours when there are many walk-in clients.

Expertise

• At least 1 year of expertise in a efficient-food, dining venue, or dispatch service position.
• Expertise with dispatch channels which includes Chowdeck, Glovo, Jumia Food, or Bolt Food is desirable.
