Position Overview

The Engineering Mechanical operator is in charge of setting up, operating, and preserving expert engineering machinery which includes lathes, milling machines, CNC machines, or fabrication resources. The position aids the engineering and production operations methods by generating precision parts according to technical drawings and requirements.

Duties

• Set up and operate engineering machines which includes CNC, milling, lathe, drilling, or grinding machines.
• Analyze and work from engineering drawings, plans, and technical requirements.
• Track machine processes to identify any malfunctions or discrepancies.
• Execute inspection procedures on finished parts to guarantee they meet necessary guidelines and tolerances.
• Make modifications to machine settings or tools utility as needed during process.
• Carry out standard procedure servicing & maintenance and minor repairs to keep machines in good operating requirement.
• Preserve a clean and safe operating environment in accordance with all health and safety protocols.
• Record generation result, machine effectiveness, and any servicing & maintenance initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and generation teams to meet project targets.
• Ensure productive use of materials and reduce generation waste.

Qualifications

Education: Technical certification, trade accreditation, or Higher national diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant field.
