The "Strengthening Entry to People-Centred Mental Healthcare for Persons affected by NTDs in Nigeria" project, also known as the mhCAP-NTDs project, was conceptualize to aviator an intervention model targeted at dealing with inequities in entry to care for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in Nigeria. The project concentrates on optimizing the mental health and wellbeing of women, men, girls, and boys affected by NTDs in Nigeria and across the West Africa region. It looks for to assist government and civil society actors in conceptualizing and running test a complete intervention model that combines mental health and NTD care, following both worldwide and national frameworks.

Entire Goal

The objective of the exercise is to collect stories of effect and collect photographs and videos capturing the mhCAP-NTDs resulting deliverables for use by the mhCAP-NTD associates (FMOH, CBM Worldwide, RAN, HANDS, TLMN, IDEA Nigeria, Tertiary institution of Jos, CBM UK, and Anesvad Foundation) in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. Particularly, the targets in sync with with the entire goal comprise of: Success stories of participants across the three project parts (mental health solutions and assist, livelihoods, and anti-stigma) New learning and findings from project execution to highlight as proof of idea for possible scale-up Development of a documentary as an audio-graphics support instrument for relation with various audience (government, donors, persons with lived expertise, analysis institutions, NTD program implementers, regulatory framework makers, health service key stakeholders, the general public, etc.)

Specific Qualifications

• Photographs/Videos need to be compelling and candid with participants participated in action initiatives which includes – smiling to camera and positive engagement
• Please show project participants doing tangible things e.g., livelihood initiatives, engaging in a self-assist group meeting, receiving medical assistant, talking with CBM/Work collaboratively employees.
• Please show CBM employees/work collaboratively employees/NTD frontline health employees doing tangible things, e.g., talking with project participants, using tools (Garri processing plant), doing something supportive that is real.
• All photographs need to transparently be in a Nigeria circumstance (rural setting), so it is obvious that it reflects the realities on the ground.
• Where possible and applicable, please ensure images comprise of people with a NTD or disability and that this is obvious from the photograph.
• Work collaboratively employees with project participants – listening, smiling, laughing, compelling, and sitting together.

Specific video/documentary:

• The video will be seamlessly edited to produce a cohesive visual stories that highlights the key parts of the project, and the perspectives of various project participants interviewed.
• The video documentary includes responsibility for carrying out interview segments with all key parties participated in the project: direct participants (persons with skin NTDs) and their caregivers, government participants (NTD and Mental Health divisions), Project employees of executing associates, and CBM Worldwide Program officer offering a complete overview of the project with eager concentration on project goals, successes documented, hurdles faced, lessons learnt, and strategic guidance for future interventions.
• The length of the documentary will be 4 to 6 minutes, making sure that it is brief yet informative.
• Short film of the CEO/Director and Program officer of the Associates speaking about the project, its effect, and their requirements.
• Short film of the Associates speaking about the project’s effect and their requirements.
• Short film of government employees at the state/local level speaking about the project, and its future
• Short film of employees of the National Planners of the NMHP and NTD divisions at FMOH speaking about the project and its future.
• All project participants will be recognized by CBM Worldwide and the associates in improve. Approval forms will be necessary for all stories and photographs. For groups, this can be a recording of spoken communication approval. CBM Worldwide will stock forms and collaborate with the professional shooter/video editor to guarantee these are collected. The team will comprise of Advising Media Team, CBM Worldwide Country employees (where possible), and specific consortium work collaboratively employees (names to be validated).
