Position Overview

The Superintendent Pharmacy professional is accountable for managing all specialist and compliance-related components of the pharmacy's processes. This comprises making sure adherence with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and other applicable bodies, coordinating pharmaceutical solutions, directing employees, and making sure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients.

Dispensing & Patient Care:

• Precisely dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Offer patient counseling on drug use, side outcomes, engagements, and lifestyle modifications.
• Track patient therapy to avoid harmful engagements or contraindications.

Stock Management:

• Supervise procurement, storage, and regulate of pharmaceutical goods.
• Ensure proper inventory levels and execute inventory rotation to avoid expiries.
• Oversee regulated drugs in line with legal & regulatory guidelines.

Business Monitoring:

• Preserve pharmacy cleanliness and safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping, document-keeping, and status updates.
• Support to pharmacy growth plans and income optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing permit from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• At least 2- 4years post-service experience expertise in a in-store pharmacy setting.
• Solid understanding of drug dispensing, pharmaceutical care, and compliance obligations.
• Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and people skills.
• Capability to use pharmacy management operational structures and preserve accuraterecords.
